Natasha Evans is a local mixed media artist from Zambia working from her Lusaka based home studio. This is her 5th solo exhibition which is titled Raw Portrayals. 

"My upcoming solo exhibition Raw Portrayals at 37d Gallery will show a body of work that is to include painting, drawing, installation, calabash vessels and small works on cork. 

The collection as a whole is a primal emotive response to raw feelings, memories and shared human experiences. Earth tones, organic mediums and 'raw edges' dominate and speak to the natural and real-state metaphors for tenderness and pain and the robustness and fragility in life and death"
