Five Cafes to try in Lusaka right now

cafes in Lusaka

In need of a fix of caffeine as you hang out with a friend? Or after shopping and the kids have been driving you crazy? Better yet a place to sit quietly , endlessly scrolling with headphones on but with a matcha latte?

We get it.

Saunter over to one of these cafes for the fix you need!

Vida e caffe - Pinnacle Mall, Woodlands

The chorus of the staff when someone walks in is sure to elicit a smile from you. With its style of ordering at the counter ( order and pick up at the counter) , vida e caffe is a pleasant cafe with a great selection of sandwiches and drinks. Great for small espresso after a ShopRite visit, quick business meetings, and a good sandwich and hot choccie to go if you can’t sit in.

Brew Me Coffee Shop - Garden City Mall, Airport roundabout

A fav for people living on that side of town ( the cake pops!) Brew me has that great urban decor, and a chill atmosphere and is a favourite for remote workers. Great menu options are available ( the hot apple cinnamon is our fav!), the staff are friendly and know their menu really well. We really love the chill urban vibe. Also, did we mention FREE REFILLS?

Le Petit Paris - Great East road, opposite showgrounds

This was an absolute pleasant find! Great garden, amazing pastries, and crunchy fresh baguettes. What else do you need? Great for a Saturday morning of quiet and an ‘I deserve to spoil myself’ croissant.

Aroma by Orchard - Kamloops mall, Alick Nkhata Rd, Kalingalinga

This spot will have your mouth wide open. The place is bigger than you expect, impeccably decorated and the food is top tier! The pergola style ceiling in the cafe downstairs is part of the design that we love. We will let you go upstairs and be surprised ! Go and get your pressed and filtered drinks. You’ll thank us!

Peaberry Coffee Zambia - Twin Palm Road ( across Memorial Park Cemetery)

Rushing out of the pick n pay on Twinpalm road ( Memorial Park), we did a double take as we notices the small ‘cafe’ station at the entrance. Great place to grab that to-go cup after grocery shopping.
